30-31 January 2020:  2 day practical pre exam course. Open to anyone who is sitting the forthcoming BEVA/BVDA EDt Examination. To be held at Twemlows Hall Stud Farm, Twemlows Hall, Whitchurch, SY13 2EZ

The course will take place over 2 days and will involve attendees treating at least two horses on day one and two horses on the second day with the either one or two of these being run under a mock exam situation. Dependent on the candidates request and needs.

All horses will be sedated by an onsite veterinary surgeon in order to carry out any treatment needed.

The horses being treated are of all ages and we hope to be able to have some horse with mouths/ pathology like the level seen in the BEVA /BVDA exam.

The course is aimed at those persons who are on the exam and it will aim to give them;

· an idea of how the exam will be run and examined

· feedback on both their practical skills and their theoretical knowledge

· feedback on their equipment and presentation of equipment

· feedback on charting

The course will not be able to dramatically change candidates’ level of dentistry or theory knowledge. It is meant as a final push towards passing the exam and history has shown this to be the case.

Lunch and drinks will be provided on both days.

Course fees:  £450 for BAEDT student members and £550 for non-members. Course fees are non-refundable.

The course will be limited to exam candidates only.
