ONE DAY PRACTICAL WORKSHOP, 30 July 2021
Open to BAEDT student members
This course is to be held at Hargate Hill Equestrian Centre, Hargate Hill, Glossop, Derbyshire, SK13 6JL.
The workshop will take place over one day. All horses that require sedation will be sedated by an on site veterinary surgeon in order to carry out any treatment needed. The horses being treated are of all ages. 
The day is aimed at
student members wishing to gain advanced case studies or gain feedback on the level of their work and theory knowledge
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. 
Course fees: £75 if paid before the 10th July 2021, £100 thereafter. Course fees are non-refundable but can be transferred over to future courses.
This course will be limited to 15 people.

ONE DAY PRACTICAL WORKSHOP, 20TH SEPTEMBER 2021
Open to BAEDT full members
This course is to be held at Holybrook House, Buckfastleigh, Devon, TQ11 0HW at the home and racing yard of Mr Jimmy Frost.
The workshop will take place over one day and will involve attendees treating one horse in the morning and a talk by the attending vet after lunch. All horses that require sedation will be sedated by an onsite veterinary surgeon in order to carry out any treatment needed.
The horses being treated are of all ages.
The day is aimed at two groups,
• members needing to attend a practical workshop (mandatory to attend one every 3 years)
• members who recognise the benefit of these days as good practice and improving links between all in the BAEDT
In light of current COVID-19 restrictions and rules, we ask for this course that participants bring their own refreshments and lunch and also provide their own masks and sanitiser. This is reflected in a reduced cost on the normal price of our CPD courses.
Course fees: £70 if paid before the 5th September 2021, £95 thereafter. Course fees are non-refundable but can be transferred over to future courses.
This course will be limited to 15 people.

This course is to be held at Nutshell Farm, Walls Lane, Ingoldmells, Lincs PE25 1JH 

The workshop will take place over one day. All donkeys that require sedation will be sedated by an onsite veterinary surgeon in order to carry out any treatment needed.
The horses being treated are of all ages.
The day is aimed at two groups,
• members needing to attend a practical workshop (mandatory to attend one every 3 years)
• members who recognise the benefit of these days as good practice and improving links between all in the BAEDT
Lunch and light refreshments will be provided.
Course fees: £75 if paid before the 1st October 2021, £100 thereafter. Course fees are non-refundable but can be transferred over to future courses.

BEVA Advanced Theory Course: 19th August 2021
This course is aimed at veterinarians and the more experienced EDT who wishes to sit the BEVA/BVDA EDT Examination in the future. It is also a requirement of eligibility for BAEDT student membership.

Scientific literature:

Thanks to BEVA the EVJ (Equine Veterinary Journal) has published an online compilation of articles entitled "Advances in Equine Dentistry:2009 and 2010" which is freely available for the benefit of equine veterinarians and dental technicians who would like to keep up to date with the latest developments in this field.
